  1. View responder's PDFs without downloading them (display in browser)

    Currently, people reviewing RFPs have to download a ton of documents if scoring by question. It would make it a lot easier to manage if the respondent's uploads (usually PDFs) could be displayed in the browser without us having to download and open the file.

  2. For completing a Proposal, we would like to enable Multiple Rounds of approval on the Responses.

    When an answer is written or inserted from the Knowledge Base, then marked as complete we want multiple rounds of reviews, for example:
    1) checking for technical accuracy
    2) adding value positioning
    3) final polish and grammar

  3. Import multiple files into a single proposal

    I have a single RFP proposal that includes a Word and an Excel doc. After importing the first file and setting the sections and questions, there's no way to import additional docs and append them to an existing proposal.

  7. Download questions and upload answers

    Allow sections to be downloaded as excel tables and re-uploaded so that no one has to individually click each answer, choose the right drop down and repeat until your finger cramps.

  8. It would be really helpful if you could sort results in knowledge base by any of the columns shown - would help identify duplicates, etc.

    I would like to be able to sort knowledge content by the columns shown (question and answer sort a-z, oldest-newest, by creator, editor, etc). This would be especially helpful in managing content and identifying unintended duplicates. This would be a good complement to the suggestion someone else made to add a warning for duplicate responses when uploading knowledge.

  9. Delete an entire word without deleting the space before it.

    When typing a response (not from the knowledge base), and I need to delete a full word, the system also deletes the space before that word. So inevitably I don't notice that until I've typed the replacement for the original word and now the two have run together. Just takes extra editing time for no apparent reason.

  10. Accidentally Deleting a Scorer

    Add a safety net for someone accidentally deleting a scorer like "Are you sure you want to do this" so you don't lose that person's score and hours upon hours of work that went into it.

  14. All Questions within RFP text search

    Do a text search of all questions within an RFP. Users will sometimes want to go back and update an answer, but don't know the question number. You could add it to the filter box.

  15. Automatically flag entries for duplicates when adding new entries to the Knowledge Base.

    When doing a bulk upload of content to the Knowledge Base, it would be very helpful if the system automatically scanned and flagged possible duplicate entries before they are inputted into the Knowledge Base.

  16. Limit words or characters in vendor responses.

    Often we get excessively wordy answers from our vendors, when half (or less) would suffice. It would be very helpful to be able to limit the number of words or characters allowed within answers.

  17. Create single KB entries with multiple valid versions.

    We often create and manage variations of the same response, tuned for different verticals, industries, or product lines - fundamentally the same answer, but with different details and, esp, tags. It would be nice to be able to collect and version these hierarchically - like the merge suggestion, but they're not duplicates so much as alternate versions of the same questions and answers.

  18. Have a unique identifier for each Knowledge Base entry for traceability

    We would like to have each individual entry to have a unique ID that is assigned upon entry creation so that we can work with the library more efficiently. As our library has grown exponentially, we are finding it impossible to track back to the content in an order to clean up duplicates or work with the content in a meaningful way.

  19. Fix where the task list goes!

    Fix the fact that when you hit a question on the task list, the page that it brings up shows the Workflow for the entire section instead for just that question. We've had users accidentally re-assign sections because of that (a real pain!) and even when trained on this, it's an easy mistake to make. Please fix!

  20. Include internal notes/comments in the KB records themselves

    Attached to many of the KB records we are importing from our previous system into RFP365 were internal notes and comments, typically a reminder to the writer. For example, to make a small change to a certain part when using for different customers, or to always confirm with Legal or Finance before using a response (there are many other examples as well). Right now, I use a "Span" style and enclose the comments with ***, telling the writer to delete the comment after inserting the response into a project question.
