  1. Bulk edit options for questions

    As the manager of a proposal I want to be able to select multiple questions so that I can perform changes in bulk to the selected questions.
    Changes that should be possible:
    - assignments and dates (workflow)
    - delete questions
    - move to new/other section
    - add/remove tags
    - export to Excel

  2. Minimal formatting of the Question when responding

    It would be nice to be able to put a <return> and <bullet> and <numbered lists> in the question. We get some large questions and having it bunched up with no returns makes it very difficult to read

  3. Question and Answer Formatting needs to be made available.

    When typing in a question, sometimes the format layout is on 2 lines for a reason. RFP 365 currently does not save or recognize a question layout, and this would be helpful.
    When providing an answer, if the answer has been copied and pasted (with bullets AND sub-bullets) the sub-bullet formatting doesn't save properly.

  4. Allow for Question Number in Import

    Many RFPs come with their own number system. It would be ideal if we could have an upload field in the import file that would allow us to be able to use these numbers and have a question/item number displayed in RFP365.

    This is difficult for some technical reasons. Presently we read in the question number with the question, and that presents other challenges as you well know. We believe the new Excel/Word imports should help this, as you can export your responses back into the client’s source doc…and then we don’t alter the question itself.

  5. Advanced KB Editors

    Would like a super-editor for managing KB data. Finding dupes with a high % overlap would nice. Being able to bulk manage. Self export with some easy way to find.

    We added a Related Questions feature to help find duplicative responses. You can find this when you click into a Knowledge content item. But we’ll keep working on a ‘report’ that would help identify these in bulk.

  6. Second Alert for Delinquent Responders

    I would like to see a way to remind users, again, that they have past due tasks.
    (As far as I know, right now they only receive one message?)

  7. Add comments fields to sections and questions

    RFP's usually contain instructions on how to answer or other information relevant when answering.
    I currently add a question with a dot (".") as the answer and mark it as approved immediately (I sometimes forget to set the Knowledge Base toggle to NO)

    I would like to be able to add these as comments below the section title and/or as a 'question' that does not need an answer (and is not stored in the knowledge Base).

    You can currently make comments at the Question level. In a future release these comments will be more noticeable, as we agree they are kind of buried.

    Is there a way to select a default approver for multiple sections at once, rather than having to change it for each section?

  9. Have a unique identifier for each Knowledge Base entry for traceability

    We would like to have each individual entry to have a unique ID that is assigned upon entry creation so that we can work with the library more efficiently. As our library has grown exponentially, we are finding it impossible to track back to the content in an order to clean up duplicates or work with the content in a meaningful way.

  10. All Questions within RFP text search

    Do a text search of all questions within an RFP. Users will sometimes want to go back and update an answer, but don't know the question number. You could add it to the filter box.

  11. Automatically flag entries for duplicates when adding new entries to the Knowledge Base.

    When doing a bulk upload of content to the Knowledge Base, it would be very helpful if the system automatically scanned and flagged possible duplicate entries before they are inputted into the Knowledge Base.

  12. Ability to add custom fields in the RFP details page.

    It would be nice to have the ability to add up to 4 custom fields in the RFP settings so that when you create an RFP (responding) you can put in your company's custom information to the Detail tab.

    This is part of our placeholder initiative, which includes user-defined fields in the Details page of a proposal. This will allow for variables to be inserted (such as client name or other variables) into placeholder ‘tokens’ identified in KB responses.

  13. Download Documents

    When the end RFP results are downloaded and separated by vendor, it would be helpful if documents that were uploaded in the RFP were titled with the section and in order.

  14. View responder's PDFs without downloading them (display in browser)

    Currently, people reviewing RFPs have to download a ton of documents if scoring by question. It would make it a lot easier to manage if the respondent's uploads (usually PDFs) could be displayed in the browser without us having to download and open the file.

  15. Create single KB entries with multiple valid versions.

    We often create and manage variations of the same response, tuned for different verticals, industries, or product lines - fundamentally the same answer, but with different details and, esp, tags. It would be nice to be able to collect and version these hierarchically - like the merge suggestion, but they're not duplicates so much as alternate versions of the same questions and answers.

  16. Reviewer / Super User Mode - Task Filter Enhancement

    I often work as a RFP Proposal Reviewer or Super User. For example, I use Tasks / Filters to review the open issues for other Users and may need to complete their responses. It requires many clicks to do the work.

    If I filter on user 'Bob'; click to answer question; return Tasks / Filters - context is lost. I must reset the filter to look for User 'Bob'.

    Possible approaches
    - allow a right click to spawn the filtered questions in a new browser tab. do work there. close tab. go back to Tasks / Filter tab and repeat

  17. Add layout to questions

    We encounter a lot of questions with layout; When entered into RFP365 these are represented as one (sometimes long) string, which makes them hard to read / interpret.

  19. Limit words or characters in vendor responses.

    Often we get excessively wordy answers from our vendors, when half (or less) would suffice. It would be very helpful to be able to limit the number of words or characters allowed within answers.

  20. Automatically log out users after certain amount of days/months

    We are finding many users never or rarely log out. For security purposes, would like to see an option of auto log out if someone has been logged in for days or weeks or months, etc.
